Battle Size

Can I be honest?

I’ve been seeking the Holy Spirit about a blog post and I got nothing!

Last night, I started a whole post on “forgiveness” … this morning just as I was almost finished to post for my usual 8:30am/ 9 am Tuesday post time… I felt the Holy Spirit “not yet”

πŸ‘€πŸ‘€πŸ‘€πŸ‘€πŸ‘€πŸ‘€πŸ‘€ not yet?? But I stayed up last night and got up early thing morning to post this whole thing Jesus!

So after dying to the flesh, reminding myself that these post aren’t about me and when and what I choose to post …….I stopped. Got still.

And it’s just now scrolling through my phone notes at 3:15 pm I stopped at:

” The size of your battle confirms the size of your anointing” – (Allyson Rowe)

and then James 1:2-4 came to mind:

“Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.”

How many times do we discount our anointing because the battle gets hard?

Are we selling our birthright like Esau? ( Genesis 25: 29-34)

How many times in the midst of our endurance do we just give up?

How many times do we really go all the way around that mountain to find an β€œeasier” way out?

How many times do we ignore the true calling on our life because the battle isn’t as easy as we expected?

” The size of your battle confirms the size of your anointing”

Do you know that means? You’ve been chosen! Chosen to fulfill a God-given anointed purpose.

1 Thessalonians 1:4-5 TPT says:

β€œDear brothers and sisters, you are dearly loved by God and we know that he has chosen you to be his very own. For our gospel came to you not merely in the form of words but in mighty power infused with the Holy Spirit and deep conviction. Surely you remember how we lived our lives transparently before you to encourage you.”

Even in the midst of the very difficult and long battles, I am confident that our Lord is faithful with keeping His promises. Even in the midst of the hardest or most silent battle. I know if God says he will do it it will be done. He never fails yet. Not only does He never fail, His timing is impeccable. Even when we think it’s time to give up, or trade up or anointing because it gets rough….it’s just not up to us to try to make things happen we need to be patient and trust His will.

2 Peter 3:9 NLT says:

β€œThe Lord isn’t really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent.”

Declare in the battle: I trust God too much to GIVE UP!
