Trusting in the Lord

Proverbs 3:5-6, I am sure before I even share this you probably already know what it says.

We recite it so often without actually doing what we are reading.

Proverbs 3:5-6 says “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.”

Notice it says ” in all your ways acknowledge Him” – not some of our ways but in ALL our ways

What ways are you forgetting to acknowledge God in?

Are you acknowledging Him by consulting Him on your outfit for the day?

Are you acknowledging Him with the decision for the route you are commuting for the day?

Are you acknowledging Him in your day to day errands? Are His plans written in your planner instead of yours?

Are you acknowledging Him by including Him in your family life?

Are you acknowledging Him with your finances?

Are you acknowledging Him at your job? or with your business ideas?

Are you acknowledging Him in your romantic relationship?

What about the pen you choose to write with today? (yes, even something this simple)

Write them out, pray over them and submit them to Him. #fullsurrender

He is working it out for you. He is making a new thing within you.

Hold on to his word and trust Him.

Trust him even when you can’t trace him.

lots of love,

Dayna

  1. amen 🙂 Great, great food for thought. There have been times when I have not acknowledge the Lord with my decisions. too many times, I just assumed my ways were obviously His; forgive me Lord
