At times the journey of faith can be very hard. Sometimes it’s hard for us to remember that each closed door has a reason.
Jesus closes doors in order to protect us from the things He knows we do not need. His hand is on you, always. Every test, every trial, every hurt, every disappointment- persevere because your breakthrough is closer than you think.
Are you too focused on your flaws? When you feel down about yourself, take a good look at your accomplishments – big and small – and you’ll realize there is so much to be proud of. All of your features are unique and beautiful in their own way. Love yourself. Love your accomplishments. Love your portion. You are fearfully and wonderfully made! You are beautiful my darling!
I have been on an organic skincare journey since last March. As a result I have been testing a few products out.
Here is my lastest (and it’s 100% Jamaican made – thanks Morgan’s Creek |I love this store|) :
So after cleansing with my Morgan’s Creek Acne Treatment Bar ( made with Turmeric, Neem and Coconut Oil); I use my fingertips to gently place the mask all over my face then I leave it on for about 15-20 minutes.
I then wash it off with lukewarm water. My face always feels super soft and refreshed. I have not had any acne break-outs since using this mask!
Now I will say the only issue I have is that it TAKES FOREVER to wash off as it leaves a yellowish residue on your face. I usually have to cleanse again and then I wipe my face off with Witch Hazel ( which I use as my toner/ astringent)
I am going to try this mask a few more times until the jar is finished. Will it replace my Bentonite Clay Mask? I don’t think any time soon, but let’s stick with it and see. But it’s still a great mask if you’re looking to try something new. ‘
Have you tried this mask? Let me know what you think!
Wow, what a year it has been! The birth of our Christ always leads me into reflection. It’s been a great year, today and right here, at the end of it we get to celebrate the greatest gift of all… Jesus. Why wait until December 31st to reflect?
I share this photo because on February 26,2017 I made the best choice ever. I made it here, to this chapter – because of Him.
Jeremiah 29:11 says: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
He planned my life. He planned my PURPOSE. He is what I live for. This is a celebration of HIS work. I can’t wait to see what else He has in store for me.
Desperation is the womb of change. Sometimes we have to hit rock bottom and be at our lowest to appreciate the highs and blessings. In the midst of it all it’s important to remember that struggle is always pregnant with GLORY.
I surely experienced His glory this year. 2017 wasn’t an easy one, I lost family, friends, jobs, things, situations – but the struggles, test and trials, pruning proved to be more than worthy. God is so faithful with His promises. The reality is that true joy only comes from Him.
2 Corinthians 4:17
“For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever!”
“Yet what we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory he will reveal to us later.”
2018 will be my year of Spiritual Maturity, Faith and Growth. What are you speaking over your life for the new year? Declare it today and CLAIM IT!
Thank you for another year! Thank you for the successes in the past year and the failures that showed me my weakness and drew me closer to you. I love you so much Jesus. Thanks for never giving up on me.
