Faith + Perseverance

At times the journey of faith can be very hard. Sometimes it’s hard for us to remember that each closed door has a reason.

Jesus closes doors in order to protect us from the things He knows we do not need. His hand is on you, always. Every test, every trial, every hurt, every disappointment- persevere because your breakthrough is closer than you think.

Keep the faith.

Reminder: You’re all together Be-YOU-tiful

Are you too focused on your flaws? When you feel down about yourself, take a good look at your accomplishments – big and small – and you’ll realize there is so much to be proud of. All of your features are unique and beautiful in their own way. Love yourself. Love your accomplishments. Love your portion. You are fearfully and wonderfully made! You are beautiful my darling!

You are Blessed

Have we really taken the time to consider our blessings?

I like to think of blessings as little gifts from God. Little reminders that He is watching, hearing and answering each and every prayer.

Sometimes the blessings my not be in the way we want them to be.

Blessings have more to do with God than with us. Think of them as reflecting His amazing grace and His long-suffering character. They flow from His lovingkindness and goodness.

“For He causes His sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous” (Matthew 5:45).

In the midst of great blessing, our hearts can still be far from God. And apart from Him, blessings are merely temporal and empty.

We must consistently pray and ask God to help us to use the blessings He has given us towards His will. Most importantly, always give Him thanks for the blessings.

Bless you!

A BIG 2018 Question:

Does each person around you add to your life?

You have grown from the place you were… are they growing with you?

I recently read something that is very true:

“People will hold on very hard to your past because they don’t like the conviction they receive from the change they see in your life.”

Evaluate your circle.. You may be blocking your blessings by hanging with the wrong people! You have to understand that you have now been set apart. You will be pruned in every area of your life when this happens – they may not understand and that’s okay.

Elevation requires separation.
So this 2018, I encourage you to be close enough to lead and love them… but far enough to allow them to follow.

lots of love and blessings,

Closed Doors…

Good Morning 🙂
I love reflecting on how amazing new beginnings are! Every morning when we wake up, God has granted us a new day and a new beginning.

How Jesus can take us from a dark situation and shine the light on a brand new? How many times do we get caught up and mourn the doors that have been closed on purpose!?

Why not focus on the new ones he has already opened and aligned.

Some of my blessings started from a closed door. I now know that every closed door has absolutely prepared me for the right doors to open. There is no need to be afraid of closed chapters and new beginnings. God’s hand is on me.

I trust Him to lead my path. He is ever so faithful. Closed doors come from Him too – He goes ahead and protects us from what we cannot see.

In Romans 8:28 we are reminded:

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”

Notice it didn’t say “some things”… it says ALL THINGS! Our God is very INTENTIONAL.

So today instead of being hung up, disappointed, reminiscing on the coulda – shoulda – woulda door…. embrace the new beginning.

Surrender. Celebrate. Rest.
